Devin Lawrence is an award-winning writer/director whose work has aired on Discovery, HBO, and Travel Channel, and premiered at SXSW.
His cinematic roots run deep. Raised in Rochester, NY — the birthplace of Kodak — he screened a short film at the iconic George Eastman House Theater at just 15. He went on to graduate cum laude from Emerson College, earning Best Director honors for his thesis film Sacrificial Youth, which premiered at the Palm Springs International Film Festival.
His festival-winning feature The Disinvited received a theatrical release and is now heading to streaming. He is packaging an original series with acclaimed British showrunner Dominic Minghella. On the unscripted side, Devin produces, directs, and edits the hit Discovery/HBO Max series Ghost Adventures — including last season's record-breaking two-hour premiere.
Moving fluidly between scripted and unscripted, Devin has developed features and shows with Anonymous Content, Atlas Entertainment, Cedar Park, Radical Media, Authentic Entertainment, A. Smith & Co., Sobini Films, Karga7, Main Event, RIVR Media, and others.
